I was hired by Acquia to design the personalization and visitor segmentation functionality for Experience Builder (XB), a core Drupal initiative in 2025.
The goal was to empower marketers to create dynamic, tailored digital experiences without relying heavily on development resources. I led the UX and design strategy for how content variations and audience rules are created, managed, and delivered, ensuring a powerful yet intuitive experience.
This work laid the foundation for scalable personalization within Experience Builder (XB), making it easier for Marketers to segment their audiences and deliver relevant content across their sites.
The result is a flexible, marketer-friendly solution that brings modern personalization capabilities to one of the world’s most powerful open-source platforms.
